Ringing in the year with a Spinning good time! 

It may be a walk in the park for some; but for the newly initiated to a Spin class, the exercise may seem daunting for others. Nonetheless, 102 SIT alumni took up the gauntlet as part of the Alumni Sports Network event. Held on 26 January at Absolute Cycle, the trainer led the participants into an intense, high-energy workout, pumping up our enthusiastic SITizens as they ‘cycled’ their way into a fitter, healthier new year.  

Mr Warren Elliot Wee from Class of 2013 shared: “I had an amazing time reconnecting with old friends while breaking a sweat and burning some calories. It would be great if SIT can organise more of such Spin events and increase the capacity as all the slots were snapped up pretty quickly”  

Another participant, Ms Nur Alya Plemping (Class of 2020) added: “The spin experience was really fun and it was something out of my comfort zone! Also being able to participate in the class with familiar faces made the experience less daunting as well, so it was definitely good for a first-timer like myself!”
