Ready, Set… Drink and ‘Elect’!

The pineapple may be the most oft-seen symbol during the presidential election; however, on the eve of Polling Day, delectable chicken parts, pizza and beer were the clear favourites “elected” by SITizen acclamation!    

Held at Oche (Riverside Point) on 31 Aug 2023, the ever-popular CheerS IT’s Thursday saw a total of 160 participants in attendance. The event began with the unveiling of the new SIT Alumni logo by SIT’s Advancement & Alumni Division followed by ice-breaking games, after which alumni posed for group photos and caught up with their fellow peers and faculty for the evening.            

Mr Shao Feng (Class of 2022) summed up the event, “The food is good, ambience is great and CheerS IT provided a good platform for us to network.”   

Mr Chong Hiu Fung (Class of 2019) remarked, “I am glad SIT is always holding networking events, giving me the opportunity to mingle with alumni from other programmes. Once, at one of these alumni events, I reconnected with a friend who had been on a Netherlands exchange programme with me.”
