A Smashing Night for SITizens at CheerS IT’s Thursday

The second session of SIT CheerS IT’s Thursday held in late May this year sparks talks for more connectivity.

A night of facilitating connections and fostering collaboration, the second CheerS IT’s Thursday of 2023 took place at Tap @ 9 Penang Road on 25^th May. With a turnout of more than 120 alumni, SITizens from different graduating classes came together to form an amazing crowd. Many of them seized the opportunity to catch up with their professors from Engineering, Hospitality Business, and Infocomm Technology. It was also a good time for our alumni to decompress over food and drinks with great company.

Graduated from Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering (Building Services) in 2020, Mr Shawn Koh, who is currently working under JTC Corporation, appreciates the opportunity to meet up with his course mates and mingle with alumni from other courses. Mr Koh says: “Beer brings people together! Apart from being able to unwind after a long day of work, I was also able to make new friends and sharing my own work experience during the event, which I truly enjoyed.”
